Peggy Mills passed away in 1979, but her dream for was carried on by the subsequent owners who turned the property into a boutique hotel featuring incredible gardens. Another boutique hotel in Key West is the Azul. This hotel is adults only and is quite small. You get the feel of a bed and breakfast as this hotel is also in an old mansion. It is the perfect place to spend a romantic getaway. Like the Gardens, the furnishings and decor here are tropical in theme.
